Video: SEO 102 – Boost your website with on-page & off-page SEO

iStock_000003141726_ExtraSmallWhat is this course about?

According to a survey conducted by Forbes in 2012 on all Internet marketing methods (e-mail marketing, inbound marketing, social media marketing…), SEO is the most effective one in conversion (convert a potential client to an actual client) with 48% of online conversions of search engine vistors into potential clients. Basically, it means that working on your website’s ranking can’t be delayed anymore – we know by now that a potential client will most likely use Google to search for a translation services provider – and you want them to find you.

In website SEO, there are two primary factors: on-page SEO and off-page SEO. What’s the difference between them? What are they essentially and what can they do for my website? How can I best do them? Is my translator or agency website optimized?

This webinar is for freelance translators, whether seasoned or new in the industry, as well as agencies and LSPs who have a website or a blog (or considering get one) and wish to learn how to get search engines to work for them. We will not be covering SEO basics such as keywords, etc. – this webinar will only focus on on-page and off-page SEO.

“SEO 101: SEO fundamentals” is available as on-demand video here.

I’m interested in this course, but will I understand the content, not having attended SEO 101?

Hi Michelle, sorry for the delayed answer – yes you should, this webinar will focus on website SEO, while the101 was very general, more of an overview. :)

Very interesting (and useful) seminar, a completely new word to me. I’ll apply what I learnt right away.
